Michelle Bruckner is a singer/dancer/actress who made her Broadway debut in Chicago, The Musical. Her career began at the Carousel Music Theatre in Boothbay Harbor, Maine, under the direction of Dominic Garvey.
Michelle spent many years touring the United States, Canada, Europe, and the Far East with Chicago, A Chorus Line (Sheila,) La Cage aux Folles, Damn Yankees, and Grease.
Regional credits include The Full Monty (Pam,) Anything Goes (Purity, Reno u/s,) Brigadoon (Maggie,) Smokey Joe's Cafe (Dee Lee), Cats (Demeter) ,Mame (Sally Cato,) Follies, Jekyl and Hyde, and Kiss Me Kate, among others.
Michelle has been a member of the Dance Faculty at AMDA, the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City since 2006. She travels to teach Master Classes and has choreographed for Maine State Music Theatre, Tri-Arts, Joni's Academy in CT, among many others. In 2014 Michelle choreographed The Drowsy Chaperone for The Golden Stage Society in North Salem, NY: Douglas Coates, director, and Off Broadway for The Diffractions Theatre Company's production of Music Hall: director- Roxane Revon.
She is available to direct and choreograph your next musical.
Michelle also performs her live concerts in NYC and around the Tri-State Area. Her current live shows include hits from Broadway and favorites from the Great American Songbook. She has recorded three cds: Michelle Bruckner Sings a Tribute To Rosemary Clooney, and Tell 'Em Joe Sent You: Michelle Bruckner Sings Songs from the 1920's, and released A Showgirl Christmas in early December, 2013, available at cdbaby.com, and itunes.
